毕业于北京大学，并取得外交学院国际法硕士学位，八十年代留学美国，就读于东北大学法律、政策与社会研究中心，攻读博士学位。Dr. Wang obtained the Master Degree of International Law in the Diplomatic College, Beijing University and the PhD Degree from the Law, Policy and Social Research Center, North Eastern University in the U.S
